Driving to Melton today with hubby on a glorious sunny, cloudless, late winter day, looking across the farms and open fields. I felt the serenity of the earth and the tranquility of the sun. I forgot everything for a few precious minutes. I forgot who and what I was. Forgot everything and just luxuriated in the warmth and the soothing noise of the road beneath.
