Seeing a black-winged yellow-breasted bird, that I have never seen before,swoop into the
garden today to feed on the nectar of the 6 month old grevilleas which are
flowering.
I am amazed at how this little winged friend knew the plants were there. How did it find them?
I am now filled with anticipation that others will follow thus fulfilling the promise of the plant label that advised me the plant would attract native birds into my garden.
I will now post guard duty each morning to see if it returns and valiantly attempt to capture an image of it.
